The National Health convention treatment cycles are for 12 consecutive days of treatment (excluding Saturday from 16 March to 27 September and excluding Sunday from 29 September), therefore those not intending to carry out a complete cycle of treatments over 12 consecutive days cannot be admitted for treatment paid by the National Health Service.
To be admitted for the above treatment cycles, simply present your medical prescription at the spa resort, made out on a regional prescription form by your GP or by the competent National Health Specialist. The prescription must include the diagnosis and the treatment cycle. This prescription represents a valid document giving access to a cycle of treatments with National Health Service conventions, including a medical admittance examination, with the patient paying only the prescription charge or the fixed rate for those exempt from charges.
Only one cycle of treatments under National Health Service convention may be undergone in one calendar year and for only one pathology, patients will therefore be charged in full for any additional treatment cycles.
The second medical admittance examination is free of charge for clients who undergo a second treatment cycle in the same year.
